(WBNG) Broome County Executive Jason Garnar and Binghamton Mayor Rich David announced Friday that there will be free COVID-19 rapid testing for the first six Rumble Ponies home games before state guidance for stadiums change.
Until May 19, New York State mandates that in order for people to attend games, people will need to show proof of vaccination or test negative for COVID at least 72-hours before the game.
After May 19, Garnar says the new guidelines take effect and fans will not have to prove a negative test.
People who are vaccinated will not need to be socially distant when attending games.
Happy birthday Binghamton! City turns 154-years-old
