Local girl scouts have been challenged to Bling their Drive-Thru Booths which, for you the consumer, means not even having to get out of your car to quell that cookie craving.
In an effort to go more Green, Bell s Brewery has teamed up with other breweries to form a Kalamazoo-area recycling “co-op,” that incudes six local craft breweries and will divert about 26,000 lbs. of plastic per year from Michigan landfills. Joining Bell s on this quest will be One Well Brewing, Latitude 42 Brewing Company, Kalamazoo Valley Community College’s sustainable brewing program, Handmap Brewing (Battle Creek), Final Gravity, Territorial Brewing Company (also located in Battle Creek) and natural hops, spice and herb extract provider Kalsec. The program is a reflection of that developed by Great Divide Brewing Co. In a Facebook post, they elaborated on their mission:

I, for one, do not consider myself a picky eater but I do absolutely hate cottage cheese, cucumbers, chicken wings on the bone just to name a few.
For me, a lot of things come down to texture and visuals. I can t even look at a raw, dead fish without wanting to hurl but I LOVE sushi!
It s the last weekend in January and if you are a chili fan there is some cool stuff for you to do in Texarkana this weekend.
1. Live music in Texarkana. There are some great bands to check out. From the acoustic sounds of Texarkana Favorite, Relentless, and the classic sounds of The Rewind Band, you can check out some great local bands. Remember that Arkansas clubs must close at 11 pm so showtimes will be a little earlier.
2. How about getting outdoors to walk the dog? If you are a current or past client of Muttworks there will be a dog-walking event tonight and tomorrow afternoon.
