When a family in Australia spotted a snake in their backyard, hanging out a little too close for comfort, they immediately contacted Snake Catchers Brisbane & Gold Coast to see if they could help.
“Generally people call us as soon as they notice a snake on their property,” Snake Catchers Brisbane & Gold Coast told The Dodo. “Unless they live in a rural area and are used to the presence of snakes, it is generally a surprise to see them.”
The service sent someone out to relocate the curious snake and when they arrived, they couldn’t help but laugh at how well hidden the sneaky snake was.
A snake catcher found a venomous Eastern brown snake in an ordinary Brisbane backyard and asked Facebook followers to spot the snake - but many struggled.
A group of maintenance workers got the fright of their lives after catching a large snake slithering into the principal s office of a school they were working at.
Snake Catchers Brisbane and Gold Coast posted the image on their Facebook page, saying the coastal carpet python lost its bearings before ending up at a local primary school in Burbank, south east of Brisbane.
With no students or teachers on the scene because the summer school holiday period has started, the snake - which had recently feasted on a nearby animal judging by its bloated belly - was able to slither around freely.
