A 20-something man who was shot by another motorist on an East Bay Highway Thursday night is expected to survive, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident is under investigation and does not appear to be a random shooting, according to the CHP.
The shooting occurred Thursday at about 8:30 p.m. on the Railroad Avenue exit off-ramp of Highway 4 in Pittsburg.
The victim was driving a blue 2018 Honda Accord and was the only person in the vehicle. He told police that he did not have information on a suspect or suspect vehicle
