COVID-19 in Somerset County: Town by town cases, deaths for Dec. 16 These were the latest reported – Dec. 16 – town-by-town case totals of COVID-19 in Somerset County.  The total number of cases was 10,640, an increase of 166 cases from the previous day. The ages of the cases range from younger than 1 to 103 years. Somerset County s death toll from COVID-19 was 552; there were two additional deaths overnight.  The county Department of Health performs contact tracing for each case. If you have had close contact with a person who has tested positive, you will be contacted by health officials. The data collected and provided by the county is preliminary and subject to change.

A black sedan spotted in the vicinity of the shooting is believed to be involved.
