AES technology wins green hydrogen energy storage project

BIC Magazine March 11, 2021 The California Energy Commission has selected the Advanced Electrolyzer System (AES) technology for hydrogen energy storage. AES will recover hydrogen from waste syngas sources using excess electricity. “This is a Win-Win solution for California State by creating higher Value from Waste,” said Pinakin Patel, President of T2M Global. The Phase 1 of the AES project is $1.2 million to validate lower cost hydrogen production. It will open a pathway for a potential demonstration of $6 million hydrogen energy storage to enhance microgrid resiliency in California, a multi-billion dollars market. The Advanced Electrolyzer System (AES) is a world-class system created by the team led by Pinakin Patel at T2M Global. Its proprietary technology allows for much lower cost production of hydrogen with no greenhouse gas emissions. AES is the only technology capable of producing high purity green hydrogen at highly competitive costs. AES targets $5/kg H2, a si

AES technology selected for Californian green hydrogen energy storage project

AES technology selected for Californian green hydrogen energy storage project Newly acquired hydrogen technology by Aberdeen International has been selected for a green hydrogen energy storage project in California, US. The global resource investment company and merchant bank said it would acquire 41.67% of T2M Global’s Advanced Electrolyser System (AES) in February. Expected to be a major contributor in the world’s carbon emission reduction efforts, the AES allows for much lower cost production of hydrogen with no greenhouse gas emissions, with a target of less than $5/kg of hydrogen. Aberdeen International announced the news today (10 th March) that the AES has been selected by the California Energy Commission for a project that will recover hydrogen from waste syngas sources using excess electricity.

T2M Global Awarded CEC Grant to Develop a 100-KW Class Green Electrolytic H2 Energy Storage Module

T2M Global Awarded CEC Grant to Develop a 100-KW Class Green Electrolytic H2 Energy Storage Module LOS ANGELES, March 10, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) T2M Global, a green energy technology development company, recently was awarded a $1.3 million project from the California Energy Commission (CEC) to develop and validate its Advanced Electrolyzer System (AES ©) technology. When successful, the electrical system efficiency of this advanced hydrogen electrolyzer will double compared to existing products in the market today. The AES © system can be powered by using excess electricity or other waste energy streams. As the renewable fraction in California’s electricity grid increases, grid resiliency becomes critical and energy storage becomes a must. CEC solicited proposals to fund the development of emerging energy storage technologies to diversify its portfolio.
