(KNSI) – Following President Joe Biden’s push for states and cities to give $100 to Americans who get vaccinated against COVID-19 in near future, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz announced Thursday that the state is following suit, offering Visa gift cards to state residents who get their first shot between July 30th and August 15th. “We have made so much progress to combat this virus,” Walz said. “We cannot give up ground now, especially with students returning to the classroom this fall. Getting paid $100 to keep your family safe is a pretty good deal – all you have to do is roll up your sleeves.”
