Bibb deputies arrest Macon man suspected of entering autos

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) Bibb County Sheriff deputies arrested a man trying to enter autos in North Macon Tuesday morning.
Authorities identify the man as 22-year-old Amari Tyree Crockett, of Macon.
Deputies responded to the 100 block of N Laura Ann Place, in regards to a male attempting to enter an auto at around 6:43 in the morning.
Authorities say patrol deputies found Crockett walking on Forest Hill Road. Crockett tried to escape deputies, but they caught him soon after.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies arrested three men at an apartment complex on Gray Highway Wednesday after seizing drugs and stolen guns.
Deputies identify the men as:
Brandon Pat’Shion Mitchell, 22
Dausha Verlyntae Mitchell, 26
Tadarrius DeShawn Antwan Berrian, 23
According to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release, the arrest happened after the search warrant at the Grey Parc Apartments on Gray Highway.
Investigators seized a pound of marijuana and two guns, according to the news release. Authorities deemed both guns as stolen one from Texas and the other from Bibb County.

MACON, Ga. More than five dozen inmates and suspects have been from the Bibb County jail since mid-January.
Bibb District Attorney Anita Reynolds Howard held a press conference Thursday to describe what her office has been working on since January 15.
“Individuals who have had their liberties restricted without being convicted is our priority to make sure we get those cases moving as best as possible to protect their rights, as well as justice for victims of crime,” Howard said.
Man wanted in connection to Macon bank robbery arrested

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man wanted in connection to a January bank robbery is now in custody.
A news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says 26-year-old Dajhaad Andrez Lindsey of Cochran was arrested at a home in Dublin following a Macon Regional Crimestoppers tip.
SunTrust Bank at 3600 Mercer University Drive was robbed just before 11:30 a.m. on January 11. A man passed a note to the clerk demanding money before receiving cash and fleeing.
Lindsey is being held at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center without bond. He’s charged with robbery. He also had a bench warrant with a $1,300 bond for an unrelated incident.
