Biman carries ventilators from Delhi at no charge

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has carried 250 ventilators, a gift from expatriate Bangladeshi doctors living in the USA and Canada, to Dhaka from Delhi at free of cost.
A special cargo flight BG 4098 of Biman transported the ventilators weighing 3 tons in 500 cartons and other related medical equipments on July 24, said a press release issued by the national flag carrier.
When these essential goods reached Bangladesh, cargo handling facility were also provided at free of cost, the release added.
Biman has been transporting vaccines, ventilators and other protective equipment amid the coronavirus epidemic maintaining strict compliance with international aviation policy and the World Health Organisation’s safety protocol.
