Fleis & VandenBrink added eight new staff at its Grand Rapids headquarters, including a new director of human resources.
Paul David, who brings 20 years of human resources experience in the service and manufacturing industries, will oversee the company’s benefit plans, recruiting and training of staff.
“Paul has a proven history of leading an innovative, employee-centric human resources department,” said John DeVol, a principal and president of Fleis & VandenBrink. “We believe Paul will be a great fit for us.”
David, who has served as an HR director in Grand Rapids and an HR manager in Battle Creek, has a business and communications bachelor’s degree from Calvin University.
Summary:
The National Director of Managed Review is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and overseeing the company’s overall managed review sales and operations strategy.
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Essential Job Functions:
• Assist sales team in securing new clients.
• Recruit, hire, and train review attorneys.
• Ensure all reviews are completed timely and within budget.
• Coordinate project communication between clients and Company.
• Monitor review attorney’s progress, provide client reporting and ensure standards are maintained at all times.
• Maintains technical proficiency on review processes and drives best practices within the Company.
• Maintain client relationships to successfully renew or expand customer accounts.
• Perform all other duties including special projects that may be assigned.

Flow-Rite, a manufacturer of injection-molded fluid-control components for the marine industry and beyond is celebrating 40 years in business.
The Byron Center, Mich.-based company was founded in 1981 as Flow-Rite Controls, first developing battery watering systems and then branching out to boat ballast and livewell plumbing products, registering hundreds of patents along the way.
