Teens Indicted After Filming Themselves Blowing Up French Police Vehicle

Two 15-year-olds have been indicted for setting fire to a police vehicle in the commune of Mulhouse and broadcasting footage of the incident on social media.
The incident took place late last month, and saw Molotov cocktails put through the police vehicle’s passenger side window, rapidly setting it on fire. The two teenage suspects, however, were not taken into custody until March 8th and 9th.
Prosecutors have since charged the main suspect in the case with “wilful destruction by dangerous means” of two vehicles, including one that belonged to local police, and remanded in custody. In contrast, the other suspect has been charged with being complicit in the attack,

A Paris policewoman was accused of passing on personal information about other police officers to a man on the French S-file terror watchlist.
The incident that sparked the accusations occurred in February of last year when the man, who had been linked to the radical Islamist movement, had been summoned for a hearing regarding a charge of violence towards a minor.
During the interrogation, he told the officer that he knew how many children she had, her name, and that both she and her husband were practising Catholics. The officer’s husband is also a police officer working in the 14th district of Paris, broadcaster BFMTV reports.
