Taiwan probes reported hack of high ranking officials LIN

Taipei [Taiwan], July 30 (ANI): Taiwan has launched an investigation into the hacking of over 100 LINE messaging accounts of Taiwanese high ranking officials after the company admitted abnormal activities had been detected.
The Taiwan Criminal Investigation Bureau on Wednesday said that it has begun an investigation after LINE, the most popular instant messenger and online call service in Taiwan, reported the case to authorities, Focus Taiwan reported.
On Wednesday, the Chinese-language Liberty Times reported that LINE discovered content flowing out of certain LINE app users last week, and took action to deal with it.

Chinese military aircraft enters Taiwan air defence zone

Taipei [Taiwan], July 26 (ANI): A Chinese military aircraft entered Taiwan s air identification zone (ADIZ) on Sunday afternoon, marking the 12th intrusion by the People s Liberation Army Air Force this month.
A People s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) Shaanxi Y-8 anti-submarine warfare plane was tracked in the southwestern corner of the ADIZ on Sunday, Taiwan Defence Ministry announced.
In response, Taiwan sent aircraft, broadcast radio warnings, and deployed air defence missile systems to track the plane, Taiwan News reported.
All the planes so far this month have been slower-flying turboprops and included anti-submarine warfare, electronic warfare, and reconnaissance variants.

Taipei [Taiwan], July 24 (ANI): Taiwan has reported another incursion by People Liberation Army s (PLA) Air Force as a Chinese warplane entered the island s air defence identification zone (ADIZ).
A PLA Air Force (PLAAF) Shaanxi Y-8 anti-submarine warfare plane was tracked in the southwestern corner of the ADIZ on Thursday, according to Taiwan Defence Ministry.
In response, Taiwan sent aircraft, issued radio warnings, and deployed air defence missile systems to track the PLAAF plane.
This marks the 11th intrusion by Chinese warplanes this month, Taiwan News reported.
