MEDFORD, Ore. An Ashland woman was ordered to pay nearly $500 in restitution for using spray chalk on the sidewalk outside of then-Representative Greg Walden s Medford office during a protest in October of 2019, according to court documents.
Messages of Impeach or Impeach Trump were sprayed on the sidewalk outside of Walden s office on October 8 by a group of people, Medford Police said at the time, though the agency could not immediately identify those responsible. The agency knew that the messages were done in spray chalk and not paint, and estimated that cleanup would be less costly as a result, but not without cost.
