The Daily Tribune – www.newsofbahrain.com The decision to provide Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines free of cost to all Bahraini citizens and residents was received with great applause by top officials, parliamentarians citizens and residents from all over the Kingdom hailing it as a move in the right direction. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister announced the decision to provide vaccines free of charge in a statement post the Government Executive Committee meeting late Friday. The vaccination, for all over 18 years of age through 27 medical centres, will start with 5,000 people per day at first, and 10,000 per day at a later stage. Parliamentarians hailing the decision said the move reflects the great strides Bahrain made in the field of human rights and freedom.
