JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - In the past three months, the country has seen an election, an attempted insurrection at the United States Capitol, an inauguration and an impeachment.
For many congressmen and women, the last three months have also been the most consequential of their political lives, first on their vote to certify the election results and then choosing whether to vote to impeach Donald Trump for a second time.
Eric Swalwell on Tuesday was named among nine impeachment managers
Swalwell is now tasked with the job of convincing the Senate to impeach Trump
The House impeached the president on Wednesday afternoon in a historic first

(CNSNews.com) – Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) criticized the liberal media on Friday for ignoring stories about Hunter Biden and Rep. Eric Swalwell but spending four years covering the Russia hoax.
During an interview with Fox Business’s “Mornings with Maria Bartiromo,” Jordan questioned what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) knew about Swalwell’s relationship with a Chinese spy when she put him on the House Intelligence Committee.
“What did the speaker of the House know when she selected him put him on the Intel Committee and has kept him on Intel Committee, so you step back for a second. Think about what we’ve learned in just the last week. We learned that oh, in fact Hunter Biden was under investigation by the Justice Department. Over two years ago they started to investigate Hunter Biden,” Jordan said.
