The All Progressives Congress’ Caretaker/ Extra-Ordinary Convention Planning Committee has dismissed a list purportedly showing how the ruling party has zoned elective public offices for the 2023 general elections as well as its National Working Committee.
The Secretary of APC CECPC, Senator John Akpanudoedehe, made the rebuttal in Abuja on Wednesday.
Akpanudoedehe said, “People who are interested in running for one office or the other can speculate. As far as I am concerned, the last caretaker committee meeting we had, we did not discuss that.
“That is not what we are concerned with now. What we are concerned with is data collection: how to collect data without making mistakes.

The rampaging Boko Haram terrorist network has struck again, killing 10 and injuring scores of citizens in Borno State as President Muhammadu Buhari rules out amnesty for bandits and insurgents troubling the peace of Nigeria.
While Boko Haram Leader, Abubakar Shekau, was claiming responsibility for the Tuesday bombing of Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, Northern leaders were in Kaduna pushing for amnesty for bloodletting bandits and insurgents.
At least ten persons were killed during the attack which was carried out with rocket launchers, according to witnesses.

Several members of the House of Representatives are reportedly eyeing the House of Representatives Deputy Speaker post, following the election to the Senate of Bong County District 2 Representative, Prince Moye who previously occupied such post.
Names over the past weeks have been popping up including Grand Kru County District 2 Representative, Jonathan Fonati Koffa and Nimba County District 9 Representative, Johnson Gwaikolo have reportedly making their intention felt amongst their colleagues on Capitol Hill.
