Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], April 30 (ANI): The Tata group has extended its help to Madhya Pradesh amid the rapid surge in COVID-19 cases and it will be providing an oxygen concentrator to the state. Had a conversation with the chairman of Tata GroupN Chandrasekaran over the phone. During the conversation, I was informed that Tata Group will provide an oxygen concentrator and other help to fight COVID. I welcome the initiative by Tata Group. Together we will win over the pandemic, Chouhan tweeted in Hindi.
The Chief Minister s office further informed that the company will also help in setting up an oxygen plant in the state.

A 40-year-old Covid infected pulmonologist, who was airlifted to Hyderabad from Bhopal, has extensive damage to his lungs due to the infection and is critical, a senior doctor at Hyderabad s Yashoda Hospitals said on Tuesday.

Bhopal, April 19 : As the second wave of coronavirus infection in Madhya Pradesh takes a turn for the worse, there is a shortage of facilities at the hospitals in the state and the black marketing of medicines and medical equipment is also going on.
The number of Covid-positive patients increases by the day and so does the number of deaths. However, the state government has directed strict action against those who indulge in black marketing of medicines and other medical equipment. The number of daily infected cases has surpassed the 12,000-mark in the state.

Hyderabad: Dr Satyendra Mishra, a frontline doctor of Bundelkhand Medical College and Hospital in Madhya Pradesh, was on Monday airlifted to Hyderabad for treatment of COVID-19.
The air ambulance carrying Dr Mishra from Bhopal landed at Begumpet Airport in the city and from there he was shifted to Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad. Dr Mishra of the Department of Pulmonary Medicine in Bundelkhand Medical College in Sagar city had been treating Covid patients for more than a year.
