MasterChef presenter, ruffled the nationâs feathers when he said that he and his wife Lisa Faulkner would not dream of eating in front of the box. âWe wouldnât ever consume food in front of the television,â he said. âI donât understand why people would want to sit with some food on their lap and dribble down their shirt and all over a clean sofa.â

FAMILIAR FACE: David Harper and fellow TV antiques expert Roos Irvine take a break from filming
Barnard Castle-based antiques expert David Harper has been a familiar face on our television screens for more than 15 years, appearing on popular programmes such as Bargain Hunt, Antiques Road Trip and Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is. In addition to his TV work, he enjoys a second career as an artist, has a passion for vintage cars and in recent years has developed a one-man stage show and become an author. His latest venture sees him recording game shows for his YouTube channel.
Charles Hanson s children
Charles and Rebecca have two children, Matilda, who was born in 2014 and a son, Frederick, born in 2016. Before the birth of their first born, Matilda, the couple suffered a devastating loss when their son Tommy was stillborn in 2012.
After their son Frederick was born four years ago, Charles opened up about their delight at the news, telling Staffordshire Live:
But I feel so optimistic and feel so blessed that we now have a son. After losing Tommy, who was born asleep in September 2012, we were overjoyed to have Matilda, who was born in 2014, and who has a calm and relaxed nature, just like my wife.
