Thatri: Three unelectrified villages in Thatri in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir will be receiving electricity for the first time since India s independence.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Thatri Athar Amin Zarger visited Tanta village to ensure that the villagers get electricity by January 15, 2021.
The villagers had raised the issue of their villages not being electrified yet in a recent meeting with Lt Governor Manoj Sinha. They had approached the administration with high hopes.

The police in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, arrested a young girl with Down s syndrome to grant her Christmas wish. The cops arrived at the house of Emily Richards with blue lights flashing and sirens blaring on Monday. The 15-year-old girl is obsessed with police cars and wanted to get inside one.
