FC Dallas, Vancouver play to a 2-2 draw

Emerson Hyndman s cross pressured Vancouver into an own-goal in second-half stoppage time, and FC Dallas salvaged a 2-2 draw against the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps on Sunday evening.
Ricardo Pepi added his team-leading fifth goal of the season much earlier for Dallas (2-4-5, 11 points), which remained unbeaten at home with five draws and two wins.
Lucas Cavallini scored his third goal of the season and Andy Rose added his second to help Vancouver (2-6-3, 9 points) earn its second consecutive away draw following five straight losses.
The Whitecaps also held a 2-1 lead in Seattle before allowing a second-half equalizer. Yet this time it might have been worse without Maxime Crepeau, who finished the game with six saves.
