All schools in the The Francophone South School District has closed nearly all of its schools, including those in Saint John and Quispamsis. Saint John Transit buses are operating but there may be delays or detours due to road conditions. Greater Saint John saw around 15 centimetres of snow, while some reports out of Fredericton show close to 20 centimetres. The temperature hovered around the freezing mark throughout the night, which means this snow is wet and heavy and will be more difficult to move.
