Three Louisiana state troopers viciously beat a Black man after he surrendered during a traffic arrest last May and then boasted about it afterward, according to court documents filed last week.
The three cops, Dakota DeMoss, Jacob Brown and George Harper, punched, kicked and slammed Antonio Harris, 29, while Harris lay face down following a high-speed chase, according to an internal investigation by Louisiana State Police.
During the May 23, 2020, arrest in northeast Louisiana’s Franklin Parish, both DeMoss and Harper ensured their body-cameras would not capture their actions, while Brown later lied in a report, investigators said.
