Bi-County Health Dept to Offer Walk-in Vaccination Clinics for those 65 and Older

The Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department will offer walk-in mass vaccination clinics just for those 65 and older at the Pavilion in Marion and the VF Outlet Store in West Frankfort. Officials say no appointment is needed, but you must be a resident and/ or work in Franklin or Williamson county for this walk-in service. The last walk-in slot is 3pm on Tuesday and 5pm on Wednesday at the Pavilion and 3pm Thursday at the VF Outlet Store. If you already received your first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, make sure it has been at least 21 days AFTER that first dose. After one dose of the Moderna vaccine,  make sure it has been at least 28 days since the first shot.

Vaccination Clinics Adjusted Because of Winter Storm

Area health departments were closed Monday in observance of President s Day, but, even with the winter storm, some COVID-19 vaccination clinics are scheduled to continue. The Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department will be back open on Tuesday for its COVID-19 vaccination clinic at The Pavilion in Marion from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Egyptian Health Department says it plans to hold its vaccination clinics this week. If it should need to postpone clinics due to inclement weather, a representative will contact those with appointments to reschedule. Jackson County is rescheduling its vaccinations on Tuesday at Banterra Center for this Friday and Thursday s appointments are moved to Saturday. People should show up at their scheduled times.
