A POLICE cordon that had been in place for days on Lower Lane in the East Bowling area of Bradford has been lifted. Before it was removed today, the cordon at he scene on Lower Lane, near Bradford Forster Academy, had been there for several days according to some locals. A spokesman for the West Yorkshire Police said: We were investigating reports of criminal damage the scene has now been lifted. Enquiries ongoing. Although Councillor Rizwana Jamil (Lab, Bowling and Barkerend) had not heard anything about the incident, she said: Usually police do brief us if there is any concern for local residents.
