Eight more Covid-19-related hospital deaths reported in Bradford

EIGHT further Covid-19-related hospital deaths have been reported in the Bradford district today.  Seven of those deaths were at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, while Airedale reported one further death.  Of the patients at Bradford Teaching Hospitals, one person died on December 15 and another on December 14. Two patients died on December 12, one on December 11, one on December 8 and one on December 6.  The patient at Airedale died yesterday (December 16).  It means the total number of reported hospital deaths in the Bradford district, according to NHS figures, now stands at 611 - 430 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals; 179 at Airedale and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

One Covid-19-related hospital death reported in Bradford today

ONE further Covid-19-related hospital death was reported in Bradford today, according to the latest NHS figures.  The patient was in the care of Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and died yesterday (December 15).  It means the total number of reported hospital deaths in the Bradford district now stands at 603 - 423 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, 178 at Airedale and two at the Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.  Elsewhere in West Yorkshire, Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust reported one death, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust reported one, while Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, which includes Pinderfields, reported 10 deaths. 

UPDATE on visiting rules at Bradford s hospitals - what you need to know

BRADFORD Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has updated its visiting restrictions. In a statement updated on its website yesterday, the Trust said: We are doing everything possible to keep our patients and visitors safe. We have reviewed our visiting rules in light of national guidance and our local Tier 3 status. The following restrictions are now in place: Inpatients who have been in our hospitals for over 21 days Visiting  for inpatients who have been in our hospitals for over 21 days, may have hourly visits from a single dedicated visitor two times a week on most wards. However, some wards will remain fully restricted to protect our patients and visitors. Clinical areas will contact visitors to organise these visits.

NHS update: Four further coronavirus-related deaths at Bradford s hospitals A FURTHER four deaths from Covid-19 have been recorded at hospitals in the Bradford district, according to the latest data from NHS England. These fatalities bring the number of Covid-19 deaths in the district s hospitals to 602. Two deaths were recorded at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, taking the total number of patients who have died from Covid-19 there to 422. These deaths took place on Sunday, December 13. A further two deaths were recorded at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust on December 14 and December 11. This means a total of 178 people have died at Airedale and two have sadly died at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
