NO further Covid-19-related hospital deaths have been reported today in Bradford hospitals. According to the latest NHS figures, there were no further deaths reported by either Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust or by Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. It means the total number of reported hospital deaths in the Bradford district remains at 893 – 630 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, 261 at Airedale and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. Nationally, a further 12 patients who tested positive for Covid-19 have died today, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 87,213. Their families have been informed.
A NEW freephone service has been launched for people in need of mental health crisis support. Anyone requiring urgent help can now call First Response on 0800 952 1181 and speak to trained staff, who will identify the right support needed. The service is open to people across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven. Anybody who feels unsafe or anxious can access the provision, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. First Response is being run by Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with a number of organisations – including Bradford District and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group, Bradford Council, mental health charities and West Yorkshire Police.

No further deaths have been reported by Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. It means the total number of reported hospital deaths in the Bradford district now stands at 893 – 630 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, 261 at Airedale and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. Nationally, a further 14 deaths were recorded over the last four days, bringing the total number of confirmed reported covid-related deaths in hospitals in England to 87,183.
