Following Wednesday’s announcement of remote learning being extended, a specific date has been set.
As of right now, the Government of Ontario has said online learning will continue until at least February 10.
This would make the earliest possible return to the classroom Thursday, Feb. 11.
Other updated information includes that masks will now be mandatory for Grades 1 through 3, meaning all students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 will be expected to wear a mask in the classroom.
Enhanced screening protocols will also be put in place for all staff and secondary students.
In person learning is continuing for some Special Education students with complex needs.
