TASHKENT: Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, without naming the Taliban on Wednesday, advised that it should work out an acceptable compromise based on the Doha process, Istanbul process and Moscow format for a peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan.
He asked the Taliban to ensure that neighbours (read Iran & Central Asia) are not threatened by terrorism, separatism and extremism amid fears that the Taliban and splinter groups might spread into Central Asia disturbing the secular and pluralist culture of the region.
