The President made the announcement during his regular Talk to the People as he admitted that corruption still pervades in the current government and in “any government that will come after me and in the past.”
“We are not proclaiming that we have gotten rid of corruption. There is still corruption in this government and any other government that will come after me, and in the past, mayroon talaga ‘yan (It do really exist),” he said.
The President identified the four DENR employees and their respective cases as follows:
