Guwahati/Agartala/Imphal, Jan 15 : The eight northeastern states are geared up to start the first phase of Covid vaccination drive on Saturday along with the rest of the country, ministers and officials said on Friday.
According to the health officials, the Covid-19 vaccines reached all the eight northeastern states during the past four days for the first round of immunisation, which follows dry runs, training of health workers and readying the infrastructure needed.

Agartala/Imphal/Guwahati, Jan 14 : After Assam and Meghalaya, three more northeastern states - Tripura, Manipur and Sikkim - on Wednesday saw Covid-19 vaccines reach them for the first round of immunisation, officials said.
While Assam received the second consignment of Covid-19 vaccine on Wednesday after the first delivery on Tuesday, Tripura, Manipur and Sikkim received their first lot.
