At the Omni Bus Terminus in Gandhipuram within Coimbatore Corporation limits, scores of omni buses remained parked and only a few were operated on Wednesday. “We had only one service to Tiruchendur on Tuesday before the night curfew came to force,” R. Baskaran, president of Tamil Nadu Omni Bus Owners Association (Coimbatore) and an omni bus operator with 35 buses, said on Wednesday.

Govt Orders Major Reshuffle In Administration SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Sunday ordered transfers and postings in the administration. According to Government Order No.344–JK(GAD) of 2021, Munir-ul-Islam, KAS, Director, Archives, Archaeology and Museums, J&K, is transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer/Secretary, J&K Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, vice Muzafer Ahmad Pir, KAS, who shall report to the General Administration Department, for further posting. Rahul Pandey, IAS, Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, holding additional charge of Director, Information, J&K, shall also hold the charge of Director, Archives, Archaeology and Museums, J&K and Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
