Darien First Selectman Jayme Stevenson, and State Rep. Terrie Wood will be hosting another “Bring It Home” event Feb. 24, at 7:30 p.m. The topics are state control of local zoning and school regionalization.
Special guest speakers at this event include: State Rep. Kimberly Fiorello, Scott Hobbs of Hobbs Inc. and Francis Pickering, executive director of Western CT Council of Governments.
The event will be held on Zoom webinar with details on DarienRTC.com. The Bring it home series is free, and everyone is welcome to join. No pre-registration is required.

FAIRFIELD, CT Affordable housing has been a hot topic for years in Fairfield, and Wednesday s forum on zoning and land use was no different.
The event, featuring legislators and other experts, and held via Zoom, drew roughly 160 attendees and was organized by local land use advocacy group FairPLAN. We have an urgent housing crisis in the state of Connecticut, said state Sen. Tony Hwang, a Republican from District 28 and a ranking member of the Housing Committee, who suggested legislators should consider revisiting the controversial housing law Section 8-30g.
