Mount Airy mansion will become new Madi s House thanks to donation

CINCINNATI â Brick by figurative brick, Steve and Julie Raleigh have built Madi s House, an organization focused on creating a space for people struggling with substance abuse and mental health. Now Madi s House has grown in terms of literal bricks, moving into a new mansion in Mount Airy thanks to a donation.
Since opening in November 2020, the organization has seen such a response it needed to find a larger location to continue supporting as many young adults as possible. Bon Secours Mercy Health provided that opportunity, handing over the keys to the 7,000 square foot house on Sunday.
Sr. Kristin Peters of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration traveled to Arizona, where she ministered with Casa Alitas, the Kino Border Initiative and the Tucson Samaritans, who help migrants .

BETHLEHEM, CT - Reverend Mother Dorcas (née Mary Loretta) Rosenlund, 93, member of the Abbey of Regina Laudis, died at the Abbey on May 20, 2021, from complications due to old age. Mother Dorcas entered Regina Laudis in 1982 after distinguishing herself in two careers, in Public Relations and in Medicine as a Pediatric Gastroenterologist. She was the Abbey s baker for over thirty years and founded the Contemplative Medical Center of Regina Laudis.
Mary Loretta Rosenlund was born on August 4, 1927, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Arthur and Helen Ternon Rosenlund. She was proud of her Swedish roots on her father s side and Irish and English roots on her mother s side of the family. She graduated from Mount Saint Joseph Academy and received her Bachelor s Degree, majoring in English, at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia.
