SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) U.S. San Francisco Mayor London Breed held a press conference on Thursday to promote the United Playaz Gun Buy-back event this coming Saturday.
The gun buy-back event provides a place for people to turn in their weapons. The event will be set up to comply with COVID-19 health requirements. Participants will remain in their vehicles as they drop off the guns, and United Playaz will ensure there is adequate space for walk-up participants to maintain at least six feet of distance from others. Face coverings will be required, according to an announcement.

California reopens playgrounds after pushback
The state of California had a quiet overnight change of heart in regard to shutting down playgrounds under strict stay-at-home orders apparently, the result of much criticism arguing that keeping children cooped up inside is unhealthy.
