AMMAN His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday reaffirmed the need to protect Palestinians, stop all illegal Israeli violations and measures in Jerusalem, and end the aggression on Gaza.

President Cyril Ramaphosa will attend a summit on the financing of African economies in France this week.

Ramaphosa, who was invited by France President Emmanuel Macron, will join several African heads of state and leaders of global financing institutions at the Grand Palais Ephémère on Tuesday.
The presidency’s Tyrone Seale says the summit is aimed at supporting the economic recovery of African countries post-Covid-19.
“It also aims to foster investments in Africa and avert the risk of excessive debt. Delegates will deliberate on debt relief and support from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) through special drawing rights,” says Seale.

In addition to Trudeau, appearances will also be made by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are Campaign Chairs of the event, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, France President Emmanuel Macron, and Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.
“We can’t leave anybody behind. We will all benefit, we will all be safer, when everyone, everywhere has equal access to the vaccine,” the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said in a statement.
“We must pursue equitable vaccine distribution, and in that, restore faith in our common humanity. This mission couldn’t be more critical or important.”
Additional celebrity appearances will be made by Ben Affleck, Chrissy Teigen, David Letterman, Gayle King, Jimmy Kimmel, Olivia Munn, and Sean Penn.
