The baby girl, aged only a day or two, was admitted at Dhaka Medical College Hospital after an airport cleaner found her, abandoned, around 11:30am. Jahura Akter said they were working when her colleague Rehana heard the sounds of a baby crying from a bush on the north side of the airport. She found the baby wrapped in a towel and we took her to Airport Police Station. With the help of police, the baby was rushed to DMCH, she said.
