New Canaan man charged in Norwalk burglary spree

NORWALK A New Canaan man broke into at least eight local businesses, causing damages and stealing cash, during an October burglary spree, police said.
Chance Perrone, 21, is the second person to be charged in connection to a string of commercial burglaries dating back to October. His suspected accomplice, 32-year-old Lindsey Lyon, also of New Canaan, was arrested and charged twice in December in connection to the burglaries.
Police said Perrone has been connected to burglaries at Jordan’s Pizza and Salon Robert on Westport Avenue; Valvala’s Deli on Strawberry Hill Avenue; Toyota Rent A Car on West Main Street; Seaport Salon and Joaldi’s Fashions & Alterations on Van Zant Street; and Mister Sports and Cafe Dolce on Main Street.

STAMFORD A local man is already facing burglary charges in five other municipalities has been arrested on charges of breaking into three Stamford businesses back in April, police said.
Daniel Oler, 49, of Stamford, was charged with three counts of burglary, three counts of criminal mischief and two counts of second-degree larceny, police said. He was held on $250,000 court appearance bond.
“Oler is a prolific burglar that has arrests that span the last few decades,” Bureau of Criminal Investigations Lt. Tom Scanlon said. “Sgts.
