Bridgestone Canada opens warehouse near Hamilton, Ontario

ANCASTER, Ontario ― Bridgestone Canada Inc. has opened a warehouse in Ancaster about seven miles west of Hamilton that the tire maker said will increase its ability to serve Canadian tire dealers and customers.
The $48-million dollar warehouse, which has a maximum storage capacity of 570,000 tires, will service Bridgestone customers in Eastern Canada.
The investment is in addition to Bridgestone s
2018 announcementthat it is building an automated warehouse at its Canadian passenger and light truck tire manufacturing facility in Joliette, Québec. Bridgestone said the Joliette facility, which will cost $45 million, will enhance the operational excellence of the plant in addition to serving North American customers.

TOKYO, Jan 8 ― Tokyo s benchmark Nikkei index jumped more than 2.3 per cent today, extending Wall Street rallies with investors bullish despite the virus state of emergency declared in and around the Japanese capital.
