Three Egyptian Air Force flights reach India with medical supplies

Since Sunday additional medical assistance has arrived from Singapore, the UK, France, Israel & Kuwait and the first consignment from South Korea also reached India.

India’s old partner in the Arab World Egypt has provided 30 tons of medical relief supplies which reach here on Monday. The relief supplies reached India on board of three Egyptian Air Force flights, and consist of 300 Oxygen Cylinders; 50 Oxygen Concentrators; 8000 Remdesivir vials; 30 Defibrillators shock; 20 Electrocardiograms; 20 ventilators; 100 patient beds; 50 syringe pumps; 50 infusion pumps Egyptian Ambassador to India Dr. Heba Elmarassi while handing over the consignment stated, “Egypt stands with India in the fight against coronavirus, there is no mean for any nation to survive this battle without the support of others, the whole world is going through a tough time for nearly a year and half, during

NEW DELHI: India on Monday thanked Qatar Airways for facilitating British Oxygen Company shipment of 1350 oxygen cylinders as part of COVID-19 assistance for India s fight against the surging coronavirus cases. Thank Qatar Airways for facilitating this shipment from the UK, tweeted Arindam Bagchi, official spokesperson, Ministry of External Affairs. Grateful to British Oxygen Company for gift of another 1350 oxygen cylinders that arrived from the UK. This is part of their generous contribution of 5000 oxygen cylinders, he added.
