A series of pop-up vaccination centres in mosques have been set up to support Muslims to get a Covid vaccination during Ramadan, after concerns from Islamic scholars and NHS leaders that the fasting period may discourage some. BBC News meets people who are welcoming the new services.
The start of Ramadan means millions of Muslims will begin fasting during daylight hours for a month.
But there have been concerns among health bosses that some may delay getting their vaccines as a result.

Cambridgeshire residents aged over 45 are being urged to book a Covid vaccination, it was announced today, April 15.

Cambridgeshire residents who are aged 45 or over can now book their Covid-19 vaccination.
Dr Gary Howsam, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group chairman and local GP, said: We’re making really strong progress with vaccinations across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough with more than 478,000 doses already delivered to those at greatest risk from COVID-19.”
“Millions of people across the country are already benefiting from protection from the virus and this has contributed to the dramatic falls in infections, hospitalisations and deaths from the virus we are now seeing.”

TWO billion Muslims have marked the first day of Ramadan, after the the official sighting of the new crescent moon.
The holy month of Ramadan is considered a time of spiritual reflection, fasting and prayers.
Each year, Muslims across the globe abstain from eating or drinking between dawn and sundown during the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.
The first day of Ramadan began yesterday, Tuesday, April 13, 2021.
A health boss has confirmed that Muslims can have a Covid-19 jab during Ramadan without breaking their fast.
David Regan, Manchester’s director of Public Health, said: The vaccine will not invalidate the fast and I would urge anyone who is contacted about their first or second jab during Ramadan to keep their appointment.”
