A Canadian judge on Wednesday postponed the extradition hearing of Chinese executive executive Meng Wenzhou until August, allowing his team time to review newly received documents from investment bank HSBC, which they say Are important for defense.
The delay requested by Meng resumes on Monday of a British Columbia Supreme Court proceeding scheduled to last three weeks and the final phase of his two-and-a-half-year legal battle in the wilderness being shipped to the United States States face bank fraud charges.
