Team HARD reveals new CUPRA Leon

Team HARD has taken the covers off the new CUPRA Leon that it will introduce into the British Touring Car Championship for the 2021 season.
Tony Gilham’s outfit will run four of the new cars during the year ahead, with Jack Goff, Aron Taylor-Smith and Glynn Geddie already confirmed as three of the drivers.
The CUPRA will replace the ageing Volkswagen CC that was retired at the end of the 2020 season, and has been designed with an eye on the hybrid regulations that will be introduced into the series from 2022 onwards.
Testing of the new car is set to start in the coming weeks.
Broadcasting legend Murray Walker passes away

The motorsport world is mourning the loss of legendary commentator and broadcaster Murray Walker, who has died at the age of 97.
Walker was known to audiences across the globe as the voice of Formula 1, having called the action on both the BBC and ITV from 1976 through to 2001.
During his time with the BBC, Walker was also the man who commentated on the British Touring Car Championship’s Super Touring era for a large part of the 1990s, with his voice beamed into millions of homes on a Saturday afternoon during
Grandstand.
His infectious commentary will forever sit alongside some of the most iconic moments in series history, such as the clash between Steve Soper and John Cleland during the 1992 season finale at Silverstone, and the moment when team-mates Julian Bailey and Will Hoy collided at the same venue a year later – leaving Walker to exclaim that ‘the car upside down is a Toyota’.
Dan Lloyd to make BTCC return with Power Maxed

Dan Lloyd will make a return to the British Touring Car Championship grid for the 2021 season after agreeing a deal to join Power Maxed Racing.
Lloyd last raced in the series back in 2018 with BTC Norlin, securing a win at Croft in what was a parallel programme with TCR UK, where he secured the inaugural title with WestCoast Racing.
The last two seasons have seen the 29-year-old competing in TCR Europe with the Brutal Fish Racing team, taking three victories, whilst he has also won races in both TCR Malaysia and TCR China.
Paul Radisich to fight for TCR New Zealand title

Paul Radisich has become the biggest name to date to confirm an entry into the new TCR New Zealand series, which will be decided this season across a single meeting at Highlands Motorsport Park next month.
Radisich, a two-time winner of the Touring Car World Cup, will be at the wheel of a Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR run by the M-Developments team as he reverts back to a modern-day touring car, with his most recent outings having come in the Historic Touring Car Series in the Super Touring Ford Mondeo he raced to third in the British Touring Car Championship back in 1994.
