أعلنت شركة «مايكروسوفت» الأمريكية اعتزامها منح موظفيها مكافآت بقيمة إجمالية تبلغ 200 مليون دولار، بواقع 1500 دولار لكل واحد منهم؛ لمساعدتهم في جهود تخطي تداعيات فيروس كورونا.
وبحسب ما ذكرته وسائل إعلام أمريكية، أمس قالت الشركة في مذكرة داخلية صادرة عنها، إن المكافأة لمرة واحدة «تقديرًا للموظفين عن السنة المالية الفريدة والصعبة التي تجاوزوها للتو».
ومن المقرر أن تنطبق تلك المكافأة على جميع الموظفين المؤهلين في كل من الولايات المتحدة ودوليا، وفق المصادر نفسها.

Garage workshop destroyed by fire A GARAGE-cum-workshop was destroyed by fire yesterday evening (Friday). Two fire engines were initially sent to reports of a garage on fire in Barton St David at just before 7pm. Following a further call reporting the garage was used as a workshop, a further appliance and an incident support unit were also mobilised. A spokesperson for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: On arrival, the Incident Commander confirmed that the garage was well alight and got crews to work to tackle the fire using breathing apparatus, hose reel jets and compressed air foam.
