An elderly British woman was conned into paying for and receiving a fake COVID-19 vaccine. The Daily Express reports a man showed up at a 92-year-old s house in southwest London and told the resident he worked for the British National Health Service. The man apparently charged the woman over 200 dollars for what he said was the vaccine in a dart-like implement.
She took the injection, but officials haven t been able to determine what substance might have been inside. The suspect told the victim she would be refunded, and he showed up again asking for over 100 dollars.

With over 75 million cases and nearly two million deaths from Covid-19 worldwide, coupled with economic and geopolitical strife, the year 2020 has been bleak.
