Between March 16, 2020, and today, December 16 at 1 pm, Barbados has surpassed the 300-mark for recorded confirmed cases on island.
However, there are only 20 active cases in Isolation at the government facility as of this date.
In Tuesday s report, four visitors tested positive for COVID-19. Their tests were conducted on Monday.
They are two women, ages 42 years old and 37 years old, who arrived on American Airlines on December 10 and 11. The other cases are a 53-year-old man, who came in on Virgin Atlantic on December 12, and a 31-year-old man, who arrived on British Airways on December 13.
All of the visitors are asymptomatic and tested positive on their second tests.

Four visitors, all of whom were asymptomatic, were positive for COVID-19 on Monday after undergoing a second test.
They include two women, aged 42 and 37, who arrived on American Airlines on December 10 and 11. The other cases are a 53-year-old man who came in on Virgin Atlantic on December 12, and a 31-year-old man who arrived on British Airways on December 13.
Theirs were among the 864 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.
Additionally, no one was released from Isolation. The new cases bring the number of people in isolation to 20.
Barbados has recorded 301 cases to date – 156 females and 145 males. Overall, 274 people recovered from the viral illness and there were seven deaths.

Barbados recorded another COVID-19 case on Sunday. A 37-year-old male visitor, who arrived on British Airways on December 11, returned a positive result on the second test. He was asymptomatic.
His was the only positive test among the 799 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory, bringing the confirmed cases of the viral illness to 297 – 154 females and 143 males.
One person was released from isolation on Monday, which brings the total of recovered persons to 273, and those in isolation to 17. The public health laboratory has completed 55,233 tests.
