The bird flu scare has started impacting soya and maize demand. The demand for chicken meat has dropped by 15-20 per cent and poultry owners are not ordering poultry feed as there is no place to keep chicken,” said Vasantkumar Shetty, President, Maharashtra Poultry Farmers and Breeders Association.
