K-144 resurfacing to begin in Haskell and Gray counties

KDOT Crews are expected to begin a resurfacing project on K-144 in Haskell and Gray counties on Monday, May 3, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.  The project is expected to begin at the U.S. 83/K-144 junction in Haskell County and continue east approximately 17 miles to the U.S. 56/K-144 junction in Gray County. Traffic will be reduced to one lane guided by a pilot car during the project. KDOT Crews are expected to begin a resurfacing project on U.S. 56 in Morton County on Monday, April 26, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.  The project is expected to begin at the Oklahoma State Line in Morton County and continue east to the west Rolla city limits. Traffic will be reduced to one lane guided by a pilot car during the project. APAC Shears of Hutchinson is the contractor on this $3.1 million project, which is expected to be completed in June, weather permitting. A CASE for excellence: K-State creative work takes high honors Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021 Creative work by Kansas State University creative teams has earned 42 awards from District Vl of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.      MANHATTAN  Work by in-house creative teams to promote and advance Kansas State University to all audiences has been recognized with 42 awards from District VI of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE. The university s award haul represents about 25% of the 169 awards given by the district. CASE awards highlight the best practices in alumni relations, fundraising, public and governmental relations, advancement services, special events and communications. District VI includes educational institution members in Kansas, Colorado, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming.
