(UCU) and the University of California, Davis
(UC Davis), have entered into a 10-year partnership that aims to promote student success on UC Davis Campus through increased funding for student initiatives and upgrades of The Pavilion arena, new financial literacy and wellness programs, increased access to financial services on campus, and availability of UCU membership benefits to all students, alumni and retirees, staff and faculty.
Originally prompted by the university s need to fund deferred maintenance of The Pavilion, the agreement has grown into a broader campuswide partnership with financial services and educational priorities that fit squarely within Aggie community values.

Students studying engineering or natural resource sciences, or who are leading student organizations, can apply for a new scholarship established in memory of Susan L. Butts, a dedicated employee in Washington State University’s Office of Student Involvement who died last year.
Butts began her career at WSU in 1998, working in WSU Extension for the 4-H Program. During the last 10 years of her service, she worked as the budget and finance manager in Student Involvement and was revered by students and staff for her professionalism and caring nature.
Her parents, Larry and Patricia, and her sister, Sally, created the Butts Family Endowed Scholarship as a tribute to her career and love of working with students. She is also survived by her brother, John, and her daughter, Rahel.
What did Tulanians do in a day? They broke past fundraising records and showed audacious generosity. Thousands of Tulanians came together to raise over $1.3 million on Tulane University’s fourth annual giving day.
During the 24-hour
Give Green: A Day for the Audacious event held on March 23, Tulane alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students and friends made nearly 4,000 gifts to support what they love most about the university. Most significant is that the generosity these donors showed on Give Green will make a real impact at Tulane, fostering first-class academic programs, groundbreaking research, transformative experiences and much more.
“The generosity of the Tulane community is remarkable,” said Jenny Nathan Simoneaux, executive director of Annual and Leadership Giving at Tulane. “Give Green proved that Tulanians are resilient, hopeful, and above all, audaciously generous. When we come together, there really is no stopping what we can accomplish.”
