The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, (DOTD), have announced that, weather permitting, roadway work will begin on the Section Line Road Bridge Replacement Project on Monday, August 2, 2021 and will continue for approximately (1) one month.
This project will receive clearing and grubbing, removal of bridge, grading, drainage structures, class II base course, asphalt concrete pavement, concrete slab span bridge, precast concrete piles and related work.
The project was awarded to the low bidder, Merrick, LLC in the amount of $1,168,095.83.
The roadway will be closed to all local and through traffic for the duration of these operations.
