Four people charged with criminal damage over the toppling of the statue of Edward Colston in Bristol last June have pleaded not guilty , and elected for a trial before a judge and jury.
The four appeared at Bristol Magistrates Court this morning, January 25, in front of district judge Lyn Matthews, and faced one charge of criminal damage.
